i got to the part of the game, where annah joins me. so far, i have travelled as a mage with Morte. is annah a good NPC?
and the other question.. where can i get "holy word" or something on the decanter of unlimited water? P.S. sorry for saying some descriptions a bit falsely. i haven`t played this game as much as i have played BG. |
I myself don't use Annah's thieving skills that much, I normally use her as a straight fighter, and in that department, there are better NPCs. She's a nice addition though, IMO, her interaction with some of the other NPCs is nice to watch. BTW, why haven't you picked Dak'kon up yet? Without spoiling you too much, I can tell you that he has a lot to add, especially if your Nameless One is a mage.
Slight spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . . >The activation word for the Decanter of Endless Water can be given to you by a woman named Nemelle. You'll run into her in the Clerk's Ward, which you will enter in not too long in-game time. |
thanks, Jaran!
i thought dak`kon wouldn`t be a useful addition to my "party". when i first saw him, i was impressed that the same guys sword is in BG2. two extra questions: SPOILER - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1. how to get morte back(he was kidnapped by two wererats in the lower ward)?? 2.how to get Fall-From-Grace to the party? |
1. In the southern part of the Lower Ward you'll find a wrecked building (I'm not sure if it's called exactly that, but at least something like it, you'll know it when you find it). Go inside, and the way to free Morte will present itself.
2. Fall-from-Grace is in the Brothel of Slating Intellectual Lusts, in the Clerk's Ward (not far from the Lower Ward). Talk to her, and you'll eventually have the option to ask her to join you. She'll give you a little task first, but it isn't a very hard one. |
thanks again, Jaran! but i talked to Fall-From-Grace and she just said that i must have a better reason for her to join me. ahh.. maybe i just said the wrong things.
oh yeah, and one final question. in the civil building, i met the guy, who put a curse on someone. i threatened him to undo it and he cursed me. was i supposed to let him live? what does the curse do and how to undo it? |

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . >I hope you haven't killed him, or if you have that you have a savegame which you can reload, otherwise your Nameless One will be hiccupping for the rest of the game, very annoying. To undo the curse, you have to talk to a Mage dressed in red, who's standing directly outside the Festhall. He'll give you the means to make Jumble Murdersense undo his curses. |
wierd to say this, but thanks a third time!
no, i don`t have any autosave which means that i will be hearing nameless one hicupping about 1000 times before i finish the game! yay(sarcastically speaking)! i hope there aren`t any other sideeffects. |

SPOILER ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' Dakkons Blade is chaos matter and is now part of him an extension of his will, as Dakkon gains levels and becomes stronger so will the sword. There are I think 5 stages to the blade, the one in BG2 is the equivalent to dakkons 2nd stage blade. A very interesting weapon, its just a shame that their is nothing like it in any of the other games |
