Hey. I've noticed the speed increase and the who's online thingy, and i heard about new forums. Can someone tell me what else this new server has?

The new server should be up in the weekend, AFAIK.
Anyway, the new features are:

Who's Online?
Polls (Only Gan Con and User Created Polls)
New Forum: NWN: The Undermountain Project

2. Post preview function

3. Enhancements to the user search feature (new searchable fields, such as IP at registration, IP at last post, and birth date)

4. After a reply or edit, you are now taken to your post in the topic

5. Enhanced tools for COPPA support

6. User birth date field (required for COPPA, optional if you have not enabled COPPA)

7. Printer-friendly topic view

8. XHTML templates (~99% compliant, thanks to Allen Ayres of UBBDev!)

9. UBB Accelerator updated to comply with PHP 4.1.0's new security model

10. Topic authors may now toggle email notification from on to off and vice-versa by editing their post

11. Private forums may now be set to disallow new topics or replies (previously, new topics and replies were forced 'on')

I suspect some of that is stuff members won't need to deal with SecretMaster. Most likely there are many features that are mainly for the administrative people on a board. [img]smile.gif[/img]
