Code for leveling ??
You mean cheats ?

if not, try going through the game solo, you'll level up faster than you can walk that way ( dont so this the first time through, the game is intended to be played with a party, more fun that way )

As for cheats .. there's a build-in debug-program which you can use for about anything
( summon NPC's / monsters / items /gold / more XP / moce to location X / etc. )

You activate it, by looking in you BGII directory, search for the
" Baldur.ini" -file , open it, and type : " Debug Mode=1" under
" Game Options" ( first paragraph)

This activates the debug-program.

Now go ingame, press CTRL + SPACEBAR and type :
( be exact, type it exactly like this )
CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("2950000")
2950000 is just an example offcourse ...

Hope it helpz

P.s. Try the ironworksforum homepage, it has a cheats/hints section which explains other uses of CLUAConsole

One legit way at the begginning of the game would be to scribe as many scrolls as possible to any mage or mage-type's spellbook.

daan is right, use the CLUA Console.

if you really want to level up fast use shadowkeeper, just d/l, install and open up save give to give as much xp as you want, then save and open that game in SOA and you'll hear the level up chime

Me, too. Also, setting up the difficulty level. But shhhh...it's a secret. ;)

The nice thing about making experience the old-fashioned way--ie, playing the game--is that you feel like you've really accomplished something when you win.
