Possible Spoiler

Continually while playing, I receive a hint that states that you need to be a Druid of Level 14 or greater to take over a Druid Grove.

Well, Jaheira's level 15 now and I don't get the option to take over the grove. What gives? Can you do it or not? Does it happen later?

Your druid will get the title of 'great druid', this title dosent give you any special powers, but you do get some cool quests sond items

Yep, your main character is the only one who can have Strongholds. Your NPCs cant. ;)

Bummer, and I was soooo looking forward to it!

Nah, IMO, you didnt miss much.
I think the Druid Grove is the worst Stronghold in the game. ;)

I agree !!! :(

I'm playing a lvl 26 Great Avenger Druid right now ....
and I've only visited my grove 3 times or so, through the entire game.
No real fun associated-quests, no real good items you gain and its a very remote location without a stash-oppertunity ( now that's impossible to spell!!!!)

But in AD&D rules, the only way to advance to lvl 15 as a druid, is by becoming a Grand Druid ... so in that way it does have use ...
Not that BGII pays attention to the rule, but hey, atleast it sort of serves a purpose if you look at it like that

ROFL, the only thing that's fun with the Druid-stronghold, is that you get a 'Great' or 'Grand' before your name!
LOL! :D

So what other locations can be considered "Strongholds" in this game?

Nalia's place? Druid Grove? Anywhere else?

SecretMaster 04-27-2002 07:43 PM

Thief Stronghold-Maevars guild in the docks
Fighter&Monk- Nalia's Keep
Ranger-Umar Village
Wizard&Sorceror-Planar Sphere
Druid-Druid Grove
Cleric/Evil-Member of the Talos guild
CLeric/Neutral-Helm temple
Cleric/good-Lathander Temple
I do believe thats it. So are there any actuall abilites to the Great Druid, like quests or items?
