of a free site that will host pics and toons? Powerpoint died and MSN has cut off the adding new pics. I've scaned some neat toons. I really dont want to use e-mail to have someone log them.

Hi Arvon,

I just opened a place for some pics of mine (thanks for the link Melusine!)
and i'm sure i'll have space to host a pic or 2 for you.
E-mail them to me,and i'll see what i can do.

Thanks...I'm trying to avoid e-mail...Looks like I'm going to have to get myown site. Drat!!! My ISP provides space. Maybe I'll call it 'The Lusty Mermaid'.

Oops,think i misread you about the e-mail part.Ah well,my

Good luck with your website

Looks like I may have a temporary solution... I can use Yahoo. But I'll have to convert BMP to either JPEG or GIF. But I'll keep your offer in mind, incase I get too lazy..Thanks again.

Arvon, if you don't necessarily want to go to the trouble of creating a site because you only want to host some pics, then check with your provider. You should be able to use the space they provide you for storage instead.

My old dial-up provided me with 5mg and a little program to upload files. It worked like your computer's directory tree. My current provider offers quite a bit more space, but I have to use an ftp program to upload to my site(I use the term loosely because it's just a folder full of files), but it's very simple.

If that's all you need it for, it works great, and if I can figure it out ANYONE can...lol.
