SPOILER REQUEST

.
There are three characters I haven't played: Ranger, Druid, and Monk

IF anyone out there knows could you tell me the following:

#1 - What benefits does the Ranger get for his stronghold? What is it like? What does he have to do? Could you tell all about it?

#2 - Same question except for Druid. I'd like to know about the Druid grove. What is that like and is it any good?

#3 - Same question as #1 except for Monks.

#4 - Elfs. As most of you know, the end of SOA puts you in the city of elves. The elfs always tell me "But you are not elf..." Well, what I'd like to know is, what does the game tell you WHEN YOU ARE ELF? What are the differences? Anything appreciated.

Thx

ranger: prevent the destruction of the forest at the temple ruins,
deal with umars return

druid: no idea, only strongholdi never had

monk: same as fighter, ruling the d´arnise keep

elves: nothing much. ´you may be an elf but you´re an outsider...´

they do give a little extra dialogue when you're an elf in suldanessellar. also, the lady (patricia) in the Den of the Seven Vales has a funny dialogue when you complain about her calling you a "male." also in W's P, there's an elf-hating man that will talk with you and all elven party members about how bad you are.

Elven Archers are great! 18 str + 19 dex + 17 con + longbow+++++ + Heartseeker= ridiculously low thac0= lotsa dead baddies

monks are fun, but mine got boring after a while, since he was always just moving fast, kicking high, and shrugging off magic. it just seems that it's a waste to have so many great weapons, and he only gets 1 attack with everything but his hands. it was fun until the Watcher's Keep, though. (paladins are funner, and better, too)

druids are only worth the trouble if you have ToB installed. so, if you don't go buy it. and also wire me some money, i'm almost broke.

i forgot: elves also have innate resistance to sleep/charm/domination-type spells, and get +1 to hit and damage for both long swords and long bows. this makes a 19 dex elven archer with grandmastery in longbow even more dangerous. download the Baldurdash patch in the tweaks section to make grandmastery even better (it's not cheating, lots of bad guys have grandmastery, many more than you would think)
