i could find lots of custom items for bg2 on the net, but no tob items for download if you only have soa... any idea where i can get those?

The items could be extracted from the game, a few of them wouldn't work though coz of abilities that are only in TOB. The thing that might cause trouble might be the copyright on the game. Black Isle might not appreciate people giving out parts of their games for frree
