Tomorrow I am going to run a 10 Kilometer race for the first time. I hope to finish in less than 45 minutes. I have actually run 10K before and finished in 34 minutes, but I've never run in an organized race before, so am keeping my expectations low. I am 1 pound above my target weight, but hopefully this won't be a problem.

Keep to your own race and you should be fine. If you've done 10k in 34 you'll do the 45 easy. Just don't let the nerves put you off, or let others racers distract you from your own race. Believe in, and back yourself. You'll do it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Good luck Galadria. I will cover my 10km tomorrow at a much more leisurely pace - strolling about the golf course pursuing the dimpled monster (no, I don't mean Aelia, I mean a golf ball ;) ). I'm sure your "goddess equal" status will ensure you beat your target. Give em hell - just imagine your running from Neb :D (Davros has been lurking about the ORT too much of late *grynzz* ).
