Could someone please tell me where I can find a demo of Warcraft 3?

There are no demos of Warcraft III out, yet.

How long has that game been under development now? Three years? Four? With a dev time this long I'm expecting an awsome game, and totally bug-free.

They did have a beta, but it is now closed.

J'aran, if there's one thing you can be sure of with Blizzard games, then it is that they're bug-free, that's part of the reason why it takes them so long to make them.

And all Blizzard games are awesome, except for Diablo 2, that's their only game so far that isn't awesome, just slightly better than average.

Warcraft 3 isn't out yet? I thought it already was. Sounds like it got the NWN bug. Delay, delay, delay. Neb Diablo 2 is awesome! How could you say that? [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img]

It's supposed to be out in June. The beta just closed and out of 100K applicants they selected 5K. There is no demo and it doesn't seem likely that there will be one.

Diablo 2 is not awesome, it is a horrible hack 'n' slash game with stats and levels dubbed an RPG.

Everytime you reload all of the monsters are re-created, wheee, how fun.

That was what finally made me decide not to play the stupid thing any longer, the only thing it has in common with an RPG is that it has classes, levels and stats, not really any roleplaying as such.

Diablo 2, can be a fun game, for a few hours, but it is NOT an RPG and it is definitely NOT awesome.

Awesome is Warcraft 2, awesome is Starcraft, awesome is Diablo 1, awesome is BG2, awesome is Planescape: Torment, awesome is Lands of Lore, all of these games are awesome, and so are many more.

Diablo 2 is NOT awesome.

Diablo 2 is Blizzard's first and only(so far) mistake.

Sorry for that little rant, but I just don't like that game.

I'll admit B.net has it's problems, but playing online with my friends overides all of them. PSO has a lot of things like Diablo, so I like that too. FFXI will also have the same ideas. Guess I just like guames like that sorry.
