Okay, you hardware junkies ....

I need a new set of power speakers for my PC. One of my cats just went ripping across the desk, hit the main speaker with the power connector, knocked it on the ground and the connector broke off INSIDE the speaker. *sigh* Bad Kitty!!! So, I am now in a sound free environment! lol

Anyone have any favorites for replacements? BTW, I would rather just get a single pair and avoid the subwoofer route - just a personal preference.

Yes there are very good prices you can find in Comp USA. Its their initial set. 4 Speakers and a Subby Woof Woof for only 29.99$. A good deal, neat sound, cheap price.

Also would you be interested in a 4 month old 17 Inch Monitor for 50.00$?

Foehammers forever!

lol

Price isn't an issue (okay .. within reason) - but the subwoofer is a non-starter - family issues

I already have a brand new 19" Viewsonic AND a one year old NEC 17" for my second system - besides I NEED speakers!! lol

Well now, I understand the thing about the woofy woof woof, pretty much the same thing here hehe so I dont have one either.

But any case, if money is no big problem, then here is a a great set for ya. My personal pick indeed. Not that expensive either but the sound is clear, big and good. I give you the Altec Lansing ACS21W Speakers for 43.00$,

Now thats prolly one of your best choices. Its definitely among the top 2 Speaker set systems.

Now here is a cheaper variant, still a fairly decent sound, no subby woofy, a regular Multimedia 2 speaker set for 19.99$,

Now I only shop at 2 stores, so these would be my picks for them, there are of course much more but these would pretty good for ya trust me .

Oh if you ever get your hands on Harman/Kardon 2 Piece speaker set, they are AWESOME two speaker set and is exactly what I have. Shouldnt be more than 60$.

Well good luck now brother Micah.

EDIT: Oh gosh I almost forgot about these!

Now these hit all of those off the list except the Harman, because these are just like Harman/Kardon.

Anyways here they are, the 2-Piece 24-Watt Computer Speaker System with 2 12-watt satellite speakers, 3D surround sound, microphone and headphone jacks, internal power supply and analog interface, very good ones. Trust me on this one, look at these stats!

Min Frequency Response: 55 Hz
Max Frequency Response: 20 kHz
Total Power Output: 12 W

All that for only 39.99$!

The Altec, Harman, and these defintely these would be your best choices! :D
