I have just finished the Unseeing eye quest, and it appears that I get to choice my stronghold. I can pick either Helm or Lathander.

My question: Does picking Helm result in your character being converted from good to neutral since Helm is a neutral god?

i think it does couz helm i a neutral god and som people worship him so........ BUT i am not sure!!!!!!!!!!

why don't you try it? if it does, post here and tell us. if it doesn't, post here and tell us. if it adversely affects what you want your character to be, reload and post here and tell us.

you are one of the relatively few people that actually play clerics. since all of the romance options are basically clerics, people usually don't play them. you're one of the elite!

The answer is NO. It does not affect your alignment if you choose the Helm Stronghold despite being a good cleric. It has no effect.

So not many play a cleric eh? Actually, I'd say fighter/cleric (which is what i did play) is one of the strongest characters you can play. The others, of course are: straight up fighter or paladin. I'd put a mage after that.
