I'm posting on it now... my friends iMac... Oh my god...what demon spawned this...monstrosity???
I can't wait to go home and hug my dearest PC. it's old...but at least it's usable. It has taken my about 8 minutes now to type this short thread on this teeny tiny keyboard... and is that a mouse or a hockey puck? Well atleast it only works about 1 out of 4 times gee it sucks... I don't mean any offence to the Mac users here... it's just this one that is realy bad... |
Well, that would be my old 4.86 ;)

I would have to say it was an APPLE II. We used those at school, and they were so awkward to work with. Runner up would have to be a TRS-80 Model I computer we had at school (I believe this was in 78). That took days to load up games and stuff on the tape recorder drive. I was so happy when I got a TRS-80 Model IV computer with dual disk drives for Christmas in 1983. Resolution was quadruple the Model I and it was lightning fast. Eventually, I even upgraded it to have 1 meg of memory and a 20 meg hard drive. I even programmed the Z-80 chip using Assembly and put it inline in basic programs. Because of that, I failed Computer class in high school. My teacher didn't like me not following proper procedures. He got upset that he didn't understand it too. LOL. This is the same teacher that sent me to in school suspension for disrupting the class during a test. He had ordered us not to get up for any reason during the test, but I didn't hear him say that and made a mistake on a piece of scratch paper and got up to throw it out. Next thing I know, I am spending 3 days of in-school suspension because of it. I lost faith in our educational system then. Technically, he was in the right though. Morally, he could have been a bit more flexible.

I agree with u on the iMac, it only just deserves to be a computer, and What I find especially confusing with them- I have used a 1 button Mouse, I have used a 2 button mouse, I have used a 3 and even once a 4 button Mouse, but NEVER before I discovered those those *announces in a voice of utter hatred* THINGS, have I used a mouse with No Buttons.
and besides all of that theyre *announces in voice of deeper hatred* MACS See -- they rnt even deserving of a text thats been coloured in! |
Most likely the old Radio Shack color that came out for a short while. The machine was totally useless. My old 386 was slow and very limited in resources.

My worst computer had to be my Commodore 64. Sure, it may have been hi tech at the time - but I remember using that #&%@!^%# cassette dataloader for games.
Loading "Dragonrides of Pern" took 25 minutes. One glitch and you had to start over again. ARRRGGGHH !! I got a disk drive for the C64 eventually. It cost more than the computer did, it was the size of large shoebox, and wasn't much faster than the tape drive ... At least my 486 came with a hard drive !! |
Imacs Should Be Burn't On Sight. They Are The Devils Of The PC World. They Truly Do Suck.
On A Lighter Note, If You Look At Pangur Bans's Signiture For Too Long You Feel Strangely Hypnotised.... :D |
i had IMAC in school. a very old type used in our comptuer classes. i was so pissed at it i nearly kicked the monitor and stomp away. i tell you that (no offense to anyone) IMAC is defenitly not user friendly. of course the model was pretty old.

this is a close call. id say my old 386, but it worked well for what i was doing. id say the school computers, but they work well enough for their lousy purposes too... so id say either my old 486 which i tried to play Brood War on (ever wonder why where are so many disconnects in my old records?) or my e-machine that got a busted power source from me kicking it so much. it would just shut down at random times, even when i was fighting the magic jars in the north cave in ff7!
