Does anybody here deer hunt? I do, but no luck this year.

The deer herd in Vermont is pretty much shot, because last winter there wasn't a thaw, and that killed off most of the deer. Also, there has been a overpopulation of coyotes, and they finished off most of the deer that survived the winter.

We had a good deer season this year. But it was mostly just the people who hunted on meadows or newly-grown ground where a fire went through a year or so ago that got the most deer. I've been seeing a lot of coyotes here too...need to shoot them before calving season so they don't chomp on the calves!

I havent yet, but am going soon.

But I am hunting hogs not deer.

And with a Bow and not a rifle..

So I guess I should be posting here ;)

Deer suck!!! Shoot em all so they stay out of the dang road!!

Just remember, Strider, that those deer were there before that road was. The road is now running through THEIR home....
