HEy been a long time guyz! Anyway started to play around with BG2 again got the xpack installed also, anywayz my problem is NPC's won't talk to me, some will but then they just say they are busy and some just out right say they are busy....

Something is causing this but i can't figure it out, i tried using no cheats, restarting fresh and all but nothing seemz to work...

I had that happen to me with afew but it was alwasy because I had not talked to ones that wree required before them. That might not be your problem though. I do nto know how the "cheats" affect things as I do not use them

no this happenz right after i start the game, any npc's, merchants ect... wich sorta makes the game unplayable

I get that a lot... I remember going almost insane when I tried to talk to Saemon Havarian, after he sent me to go steal that key or whatever, and he wouldn't talk to me... I remember beating him unconscious with my fists, killing him and reloading, etc... but he just wouldn't talk, but after a few minutes, he finally started talking again. =\ I really wish there was a way to fix this.

Have you installed the latest patch? It fixes the dialogue bug.

This has happened to me even after installing the patch, but very irregularly. Reloading a previous save game seems to fix it for me.

Are you using XP? I am. Perhaps that has something to do with it.
