I am new to this game but I have been progressing pretty well until tonight.
I have the latest patch installed and everything has been working fine.

I went to the Umar Hills and then north to the temple area.

I got into the temple and finished off the bad guys in the first chamber and got a key and some bones and talked to the broad in the closet.

During the battle one of my characters was killed so after finishing off the bad guys I tried to save. It said that I could not save at this time. So I returned to the city and got the dead character, the one who talks about the sphere restored.

It still said that I could not save so I went to an inn and tried to rest. It wouldn't let me rest either.

I returned to the temple area north of the Umar Hills and tried to save there. It still said "You can not save at this time" so I finally had to quite the game and lose everything I had done since the save before entering the temple.

Anyone know why I can't save. This is kind of a drag.

Seems its a bug dude.. i had this prob before as well.
You can get around it by leaving the area usually tho as in leave the map so that the game HAS to autosave for you, then everything usually becomes ok... help? =)

I did leave the area didn't notice if it auto saved or not.
I went through several areas in fact.

I'll go and see if there is an auto save.

When you leave a map for one area and enter a map for a different area, the game will autosave every time.

yep i think thats a bug, you can fix that by downloading it from a webite called arondurs adbobé its on www.albedo.com i think
