Has anyone had any experience with windows XP yet? Specifically, has anyone heard of any games that won't run under winXP, or those that do? I know DOs games aren't expected to run.
Has any one heard of a DOS emulator for winXP? This is probably early for one to be made yet, but they used to make software emulators for DOS and Windows for Apple machines to run DOS/Win programs. Programs always ran slower under emulation, but nearly all the DOS games I would want to play (and there still are some old DOS games that are good despoite dated graphics etc) were designed to run on first generation pentiums or even 486's, so even running under emulation, they ought to be fast enough on today's machines.

XP includes a dos emulator. I don't know where you got your info, but it isn't correct. XP runs dos apps as well as any 9x system does. The only thing is that you can't install dos drivers. While the program will run, dos won't see things like your soundcard.
