when facing the shadowmaster i got killed a couple of times, and so i
thought to be smart and use the "kill enemy" cheat (ctrl+y)
but now i can't seem to complete the task. in umar hills nobody seems to realize the dragon is dead . what's going wrong here ?

Do you mean you killed the Shade Lord? Or just the dragon? You only need to kill the Shade Lord to complete the quest. The dragon is only a 'side dish' as I put it ;)

tom the strong wizzard 04-20-2002 07:53 AM

just ignore it;)

you mean the dragon isn't the shadowmaster ? well, where is he then ?
or was he one of those wizards i killed earlyer this dungeon ?

To find the Shade Lord, go into the big hall where the dragon is. Then, move your party around the left side of the hall. Here you'll see a few lighted pillars against the wall. Just move your cursor around a little and you'll see some stairs you can go up. The Shade Lord is directly up these stairs.

how could you CHEAT the games spoilt if you cheat
theres no real fun if you CHEAT (well there are really good spells to CHEAT for but the Ctrl + y thats just not rite)

Please be clearer in asking your questions. There is no "Shadowmaster" in that area. What's confusing everybody trying to help you is that you need to kill the Shade Lord (actually a pretty easy target), but you can optionally avoid the Shadow Dragon (much tougher for a young party). The SD can be completed ignored if you wish. You acquired a token earlier in that dungeon that leaves you invisible to the dragon. The only way the dragon will attack you is if you drop the token, or attack it, first.

So is the dragon, or the lord your problem?

you're absolutely right there, but after a couple of sixpacks of
heineken you're just not that sharp anymore (lol) and if you lose
several times to the same oponent your getting a bit pissed, believe me !!!! still no excuse though

some times cheating is ok if you use it wisely. if you dont you may forget the real mening of the game.
