I want to know the best class solo in. Also the best class to play if I take on or two people? And one last thing, has anyone ever killed anyone who annoys them. Guards, store owners, beggers, EVERYONE! I've always wanted to just go on a bloodrage and kill everyone. But I hear that no one will sell to you if your rep is that low. True?

I'm VERY partial to elven fighter/mages. They have more offense potential than pure fighters w/ the addition of spells, and stoneskin more than makes up for that lack of hp. I also like having the versatility of spell lists, so that I can really play a much more customised character than possible w/o hacking the character files.

Um.. Look in the back of that lovely game manual. The effects of a VERY low rep are more than just that worry. You can always mitigate that, tho by HEAVY donations to temples to buy off your sins. But it's much easier to drop one's rep through the floor than to raise it back up, and killing commoners ads up quick. It's WAY too easy to get a rep of four because some sociopath like Edwin decides to fireball some muggers, and some innocent peasants just happen to be colateral damage. If you really want to strike out at those who bother you without losing too much rep, just switch to your fists, and pummel them into unconciousness.

I'd go for a half-elf mage/thief if I was trying to solo. Hard going, but it is possible.

for solo, iŽd recommend an elven fighter/mage/thief (very flexible: good enough at fighting to save on your spells, run-and-hide works great in solo, stoneskin and polymorph self make many encounters that would be very difficult very easy) or a sorcerer (stupidly powerful, especially once you get project image).
that is if you go for efficacy, things will be different if you want a challenge. the solo game i enjoyed most was int he persona of the discworld wizard rincewind - wizard char, never casting a single spell.

if you go for 2 people, iŽd recommend a ranger dualled to cleric at lvl 8 and a bounty hunter dualled to wizard at lvl 11 - you have access to all spells, have one rock solid tank and one adequate thief. also, both characters can hide which makes life a lot easier.

how in the world did you manage that? that's like playing a fighter and not using weapons or armor!

it's quite fun either way. for me, though, it got boring after a while, since i was just punching and kicking everything, and couldn't use most cool stuff. The cool weapons i could use only got 1 attack per round. :( i liked it alot apart from that, though.
