In the sunday times, there was a magazinae tottally devoted to LOTR. It was great. Everything looks as I'd imagined (exept frodo and Bilbo and all other hobbits.)

My only complaint is that the hobbits look to big and un - bearded.

It's been a long time since I read the books, but I don't remember hobbits being bearderd. Dwarves are, but not hobbits.

I joined the LOTR fan club as a teenager and got their calender every year. They never pictured the hobbits with beards.

Yeah I think you are thinking of Dwarfs, Barb.

Hobbits are like Halflings if you ever played DnD.

Small, Innocent, Harry Feet ect. No beards though

I'm sure Bilbo had a beard.

No, Tolkien even said at the beginning of The Hobbit that hobbits "... are smaller than the bearded dwarves. Hobbits have no beards."
