Okay, say, fer instance, that you were thawing a turkey in the nuker last night while you were getting into the holiday spirit with a few friends and then you decided you were going to go out and share your cheer with the rest of the world, starting with your local watering hole......

and then when you walked back to the bar in the morning to get your car and come home so you can start making the thanksgiving turkey(about 7am) that you invited some old friends and the comely wench that you ended up with, have arranged for your turkey day extravaganza......

and then you get home and discover that you may have INadvertently kinda sorta uh...left the turkey in the nuker all night - hey, at least the darn thing is thawed now! -

so, theoretically, the time and heat of cooking will take care of any bad effects.....and I know that citricidal will stop food poisoning in it's tracks......

Here's the question...

do I tell any of the people coming over to actually EAT the thing what happened, or just have a jug of orange juice to surreptitiously dose them with some citricidal after the meal?

your comments, jokes and other inappropriate input may be inserted here_____ :D

If your crowd is like mine, they won't care if you dropped it in the trash as long as it tastes good...lol.

seph, mitro, come on over, just grab some adult fermented beverage on your way, I seem to have run out, and still getting turkdy actually IN oven at this point - I think running out of beer has hindered progress ;)

Turkey is in the oven, time for a beer run, keep you posted as to the success percentage :D

Last Christmas was, in itself, more than a simple health hazard for me and my family. I, under some eronious impression that my helping with the cooking would put me in my family's good books, tried preparing and baking a quiche. All went well untill I had to cook it - don't ask me what I did, but, before I knew it, I'd managed to burn the quiche to the point of practically incinerating it, with the kitchen (and most of the house) swimming in huge clouds of black smoke.

This year I'll stay away from the kitchen and concentrate on actually enjoying the day ;)

The bird was probably still half frozen most of the night. It should be OK.
