I know how to make them and I'm beginning to love the photographic sort of feel you can get, trying to capture nice ways of people dying or huge spells being cast... I have this really, really cool one of the Yaga-Shura fight... My guys are all over the place fighting... there's dead people all over the ground... dead fire giants too... I had the Ascension on then and the guys were never-ending, so they sort of swarmed... it was one of the coolest battles.

Another one of my favorites was in Sendai's Enclave, the duergar slave room... if you don't keep going, and stop for a while, they will just keep coming for a long, long time... until they're replaced by the orogs I believe... anyway, I wish I would have taken some screen shots of that, because it looked like I had literally walked out of a war with swords blazing.

Anyway! The reason for this topic is if somehow it would be possible to share our screen shots, other than just putting them in our signatures... whether there's some site, or we could do it here, or what. I wouldn't think here would be a good idea because of the space it might take up, and could kill a server... anyone know anywhere? Someone should make a site if not...

Sorry Dakkon, but how exactly do you take your screenshots. I think it's a great idea.

Oh! I didn't realize people didn't know... for most games, there is either a button you have to press for it, or you can just press the button that is on every keyboard:

Print Screen (Upper right, next to scroll lock and pause)

There are two ways I've found, photographically to take them, which can convey points and such... which are to first, hit 'H', so that it will hide the menu bars.. this of course while you're paused. That will make a nice clean pic.

The second way is with one or more menu bars, like if you were trying to convey for instance some hilarious happening in the game, or some awesome amount of damage done to someone... you would keep open the bottom bar, with the scrolling messages.

Create a MSN community, then people can go there and post their screenshots. They will be instatly uploaded.

Heh, I have an Angelfire account solely for the purpose of storing all my BG2 screenshots and information.

11.12 MBs of .jpgs and counting. ;)

4.06 MBs of animated .gifs.

137 KB of HTML files to display them. ;)

Note, the screenshots you save from the game is in .bmp format. By converting to .jpg format, you save a lot of space.

And btw where can I find the screenshots of your glorious accomplishments on Angelfire - your homepage doesn´t link them ;) ...

Oh - not to be misunderstood I´m really interested in seeing them.

They are not really for public viewing. I usually create them when I feel like displaying them. I might make my Leonardo( my solo Cavalier) screenshots public though, as he is my all time favourite character so far.
