Actually there are three trailers and two commercial teasers available online. All are outstanding and gave me chills.
One made my throat clench shut.

Check out this site for all the trailers and teasers.
They just added a new teaser this week. You need to have Quicktime 5
installed...but the time is well worth it.

I will be seeing this the night it comes out

December 15 ... its coming ...

Stunning! Neb take a look!

Tarox 11-19-2001 08:23 PM

It "looks" good
Hopefully the acting/storyline doesn't destory it as do so many movies that have taken their story/plot etc from another media source.

The director and producers are fans of the books and they have said repeatedly that they have tried to stay very close to the books. I have high hopes from what I have seen and heard.

Me too!! I'm actually getting a bit tired of the people who keep whining about "Well all movies made after books are stupid and I'm not gonna watch it because it will ruin my inner image of what the characters look like"
First of all, I'm sure there are many films that you have watched of which you didn't even know they were based on a book and secondly, you have to realise that movies are simply a different genre than books, and therefore, the same story will be realised in different ways.
BTW I personally found Legolas to be exactly the right person for the role (Orlando Bloom), as well as many of the others.
