Is this something that I should be doing now? I have never done that before. Does is make any difference and if so, how?

Oh, and I LOVE not having to click to include my sig everytime I post. Nice little feature.

if by log out you mean the "log out" next to "Hello,<yourname>", i think that's just to log your member ID out so that next time you want to post you'll have to put your name and password in again. shouldn't have any more significance than that.
