I am looking to buy a new game and was wondering which to buy... Planescape or Pool of Radiance. I know Planescape is old but everyone seemed to think it was really good. Pool of Radiance sounds like a lot of hassle... but the graphics look pretty cool to me. Would Planescape at $25 be a better investment than PoR at $50-60??
HELP?????

Planescape is an awesome game. Very unique and interesting. It doesn't have as much fighting as many games, but it has a lot more story and a lot more ability to interact with your party. I thought it was terrific. It also has some of the coolest spell effects ever made. At $25 it's a steal. I'd definitely go for it. PoR may be improving as patches come out, but I still hear a lot of people saying it's too repetitive, has bugs, or just bores them. it may still be a good game, but it doesn't sound like a really great one, and why pay twice as much as you could for another great game anyway?
