Sorry about your loss. Have you considered downloading Gatekeeper and changing Imoen back?

Also, what is the general alignment makeup of your party?

Just use Gatekeeper to edit your mistake...no biggie. We won't tell.

Imoen's a good thief to keep. If you were going to dual her, you probably should have done it at 4th or 5th level. Even with the level cap raised to 161000 ep with ToTSC installed, dualing her at 8th would not give you enough time to get her to 9th level before you've reached the cap.

In my game Imoen is currently at level 4...should I wait for level 5 or duel class her now? Lavindather's plight has me nervous! AND what do you do without a thief until she becomes a 5 or 6 level mage???

I'm currently replaying BG1/TotSC and I've dualled Imoen at Lvl 5, which strikes me as a happy compromise between improving her thief skills and HP and not making the total exp points needed to use her skills again (20,000) that much out of a total allowable of 161,000.

Either recruit another thief or stay out of dungeons http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif ! Depending on where in the game you are, Montaron, Safana, Alora, and Tiax spring readily to mind; also, Shar-Teel may be dualled to a thief.

As far as what level to dual Imoen at, how good do you want her thief skills to be, and how long do you want to have to wait to get them back?

I generally dual her at 6th level, but thats personal preferance. It does make quite a wait before I get her skills back, but the extra skill point are useful.
