Is it to stupid to register on new just to get a new name? Cause I have been thinking of this, but since Saz made me a faboulus sig and everything, I am unsure. Please tell me your honest opinion, so it will be easier for me to decide.

I don't see why you shouldn't have an alias. Just keep both personna, and use the one that suits you at the moment. Maybe later the webmaster will make provisions for aliases.

But I'd wait untill the upgrade is complete, as there have been a number of people who've casually mentioned they actually wanted to be able to changetheir names, so maybe Ziroc is building in such an option. Don't count on it, though.

It's not stupid, but you should probably wait for the reasons Legolas mentioned.

The bad thing about changing your name is you kind of lose you identity. People know you by your username. You posted a couple of hundred times, so you do have an identity here. If you don't mind starting over, then it's no big deal.

I bet Saz or someone could put your new name (if you do change) over that same sword. That would be a way of relating the two identities.

Just think it over. My guess is that if you do change, you'll still figure out a name that would have been even cooler later on. There is no perfect name, except of course for mine http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
