When i first saw firkrag in draconic form i become scared, how could someone that is human become a dragon, but when i reached Throne of Bhaal i became used to it.

The question is did anyone killed any dragon with a finger of death?
I have a friend that play with that he says that when sometinhg isn't attacking he is making saving throws and resistances, but if he is attacking he can not.
I was talking with firkrag and he really pissed me off and then i tought i will try to kill, so i prepared myself with every thing i had and summuned everything and finally i attcked him, but then i though "i will try to kill him like N3kro does" and so it was i killed firkrag with a finger of death and became very happy not just for killing him so easly but because when he dies he leave in the ground the Red Dragon Scales (you can make a great armor with these) and the Cayrsomir +5 or somthing like that (is a very formidable weapon for paladins)...

I got one word for you....PATHETIC !

Dragons should be fought in MASSIVE battles !
Life and death. They should be a challange dude..not something u kill in 2 secs..i mean i think the Dragons in SoA and ToB are to weak..the only one that actually comes close to being near as good as a dragon in my mind is Draconis ! There it is a 50-50 Chance who will win ! IF i fight him using regular magic that is...

PATHETIC?

Pathetic is when you start to lose your own characters and have no way to win the battle and get pissed with the game, more than that is stupid.
The beauty of knowing how to use a great spell to finhish something far grater than you can only show how powerful and skilled you are.

And you dare to say that magic is fun. How can you say that, magic is but the emboiment of all creations, but i think you can't understand it.

Kronostia, that was uncalled for. Everybody plays the game how they wish and if Volguuz is interested in defeating Firkraag with a simple spell then he should be able to. I fail to see where 'pathetic' comes into it.

And Volguuz, it certainly isn't hard to kill Firkraag by a 'Finger of Death' spell, but casting 'Greater Malison' on him beforehand makes things a lot easier. This way you lower the dragon's saving throws and this makes him far more vulnerable to spells of this nature.

I just walk right up to Firkraag, take off my glove, and smack him across the face with it saying proudly, "Stand aside old man, I must be passing by."

(Then I run really REALLY fast.)

However I always use haste, summoned monsters, and potions of strength. Malison is a charm, but breech is good to keep available as well.

For me and my luck streak its more like, "Put em up!" *WHACK* (stagger back to my feet, gazing about through one good eye) "And let that be a lesson to the rest of you!"

Nononono, Finger of Death is a great way to kill Dragons. If you really want to insult the Dragon, use Chromatic Orb.

Depending on your Mage's level, you can either petrify or kill him/her instantly.

Feeblemind is also a great way to win the fight. ;)

The only thing that is pathetic, is how easily the Dragons in the game will fall, once you know how to defeat them without using cheese. Of course, if this was real life, nobody is going to complain how 'easily' you defeated the Dragon. Hell no, you will be lauded as a Hero( assuming you killed an evil Dragon).

Think of how things may have been different if someone had been able to take out Hitler or Mousolini with one sniper shot. Sure it wouldn't have been a big, legendary battle, but legends are only invented by people to glorify the sickening nature of reality.

The reason i showed myself so entusiamed was because killing a dragon in the begining of the game isn´t so easy and in the most of the times the finger of death fails.

But Dundee Slaytern really impressed me, i didn't know that with a chromatic orb was possible to kill a dragon, maybe someone should do that to Kronostia.

Kronostia really pissed me off by calling me pathetic but i want you all to know that i have a friend that is a very powerful figther with the Ac-20 and so on and N3kro challanged him and killed him with a finger of death and that is why i like very much spells like that because you have to understand it and know it well before using it and if you do PUM it's over, they can be whatever they are that it doesn't matter they just die.

This is why I like magic too. The fact that you can destroy anything, be it a fighter with -20 AC or a priest with an enormous arsenal of defensive spells, with a simple word or two. It's no wonder mages turn out the most powerful class ;)
