When I hit install to install BG2, my computer freezes, I run widows ME. Can someone help me out?

well, there are a couple of things. First of all, turn of all other programs that are running that are not mandatory, second of all, clean your cd room drive with a cleaning disk, third, clean the cd's, and then just check for improper hard ware configs.

Letting RegClean (official MS tool) run over your registry may help too ...
