What items are available to boost intelligence in this game?

Thanks,

Kammye

Sorry, I don't think there are any items to increase intelligence, unless I have missed something along the way. I know that there are not any rings, necklaces, etc., to boost intelligence. I think as you level up you may get points in intelligence.

Why? Did you want to boost Minsc? I think Minsc is fine at his intelligence level, it suits his personality.

No, I am looking to boost Aerie's intelligence. I have maxed out the number of spells that her intelligence can learn.

And I have to agree about Minsc, he is perfect the way he is. *grin*

That is a tough one. I picked up Aerie for a short time to try her out and decided that she was better off in the circus tent with her uncle. I traded her out for Nalia and then ultimately for Imoen. It seemed that Aerie did not have the strength and she died more frequently than any of my other members.

Try her out and maybe her ability to memorize more spells will increase as she levels up.

Isnt't it Aerie that can memorize both priest and wizard spells? I thought that was so great, and such an asset. I was sorry to let her go for that reason.

I don't know if anyone posted yet, since I forgot about this window and left it open for like an hour, but you can just make her intelligence 25 or something with potions, learn all the spells you want, and she'll keep them.

Okay, will try that.

Thanks : )

You can also try potions of genius ;)

No! My name is Habib Khalid Achmed Allafif, and I cannot be captured! I will throw my mighty scimitar at your head rather then suffer the indignity of prison! Hiiii Yaa!

That worked. Thanks!

the only time intelligence really matters is when you're scribing spells. with mages, use whatever works best. potions of genius increase int. more, but potions of mind focusing give a dex bonus too, which often decreases AC for a while.

Also, in ToB, you can increase all of your statistics by one, and your primary statistic by another one using a nifty item, both in the Watcher's Keep.
