this is a poem from Myth Drannor, I am reposting it:

May the sun always shine on your shoulders
May the stars always shine in your eyes
May you fly forever wild and free
Cross wide, empty skies

May you come to find the golden lands
Lying far beyond the sunlit seas
Rest upon the golden strands
Find your heart’s ease

I know that you have slipped away
But you are not completely gone
Deep inside my secret heart
A part of you lives on.

Melissa was a member of several boards including my board Myth Drannor. She was killed by a drunk driver on Oct 6th of this year. She was only 21 years old. That poem was done by Kiwidoc.

It's sad that someone should die so young http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif, in fact, it's sad that someone should die like that at all http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif.

That is a poem I originally wrote for my sister who was also killed in a car accident at a young age. I posted it for Melissa and her friends as it is about celbrating the memories you have of someone and wishing them well wherever they are now - and this is what we all wanted to do for Melissa.

250 - its a wee bit cheeky to post someone elses poem without their permission or even crediting them for it - especially when it is one as personal as this one is.

Neb - thanks for the compliment.

geesh...

I didn't even know it is yours, I am sorry I gave credit to Myth Drannor, is that wrong?

I did add why I had written the poem somewhere on that thread - but I suppose I will forgive you as its a compliment that you liked it. I am a wee bit paranoid as poems and graphics by me are popping up in a few places with no credit being given. Whats worse one of my songs was mangled by someone else at a Folk Festival - and they had the cheek to tell me it was traditional and not written by me at all.

So - send me a hug and all is forgiven http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
