He slowly got up and left the building. He would never, ever tolerate being treated like that. He took out his spellbook. A quick glance at a blood stained page and he turned around.
" Insertus, pulcar, imperii!", he shouted . A bolt of lightning tore the building apart. And it was just the begining...

What about continuing the story in turns? When writing a reply, please quote the post to which you are writing the answer.

As the bolt tore through the room he was staying in, he thought
to himself, there goes the neighborhood. Grabbing his cloak
he ducked through the decaying doorway and made his way outside
the sparking electrified building.

...of an epic story that it was written not to be forgotten. Mitsos the great wizard of the small city named Agrinio continued his way to his friend house named Byronas. When he reached there Byronas welcomed him and offered him a drink. "What did you wanted me?", Mitsos asked Byronas. "We are going to Baldur's Gate next morning so prepair your things and come. I will wait you at the square" Byronas said and disappeared...
Like it?

Where there are monsters and barbarians there will be Byronas fighting against them.

Damn he thoght to himself, yet another safe house destroyed
by a pissed off wizard. What gives them the right to do that.
No matter what town I go to it alway's seems to happen. This
proffession must be the wrong one for me, bad thing's seem
to alway's happen. From now on I'll just sell out my fighting
services. Yeah that's the ticket I'll be a caravan gaurd.
That cant be much worse than second story proffesion.
Less fear of reprocussions that way. Hmm now let's see where do
I go from here. The central market, I'll go get some info and a few
purses whilst I'm there.....

>does this work into your story ?

the elusive rogue stuck to the side roads leading to the vast market place. his hand skillfully and eclectically picked the random pocket, his skill being such that he was virtually unnoticed. as he entered the marketplace, the smells of incense, spices, animals (both alive and cooked), and other exotic items of trade flooded his senses. it was at this moment that he felt a hand on his shoulder. with quick instinct he spun around, brandishing a small, lethal dagger that a moment before was nowhere to be seen.
the figure behind him, jumped back in immediate reproach, and her hand darted into the folds of her robes where a crucial spell component was hidden. for a few moments the rogue man and the sorceress regarded each other with great suspicion, until she finally spoke to him.......

(someone take it from there)

Legolas the Elven Archer 10-19-2001 02:06 PM

Her high-pitched voice rang out clearly over the marketplace. People looked up to find the source of the sound, and seeing her crimson robe quickly turned and fled. "Godson wants a word you" she said. "Now!" Still the man kept up his fighting stance. Only when the entire marketplace was empty, safe for three men and two women standing at the back, eyes averted, did he slide the dagger back in it's hiding place.

My good fellow, I've been watching you for some time now, and I
must say your skill impresses me, but you are a little flawed in
your movement's to conceal your action's. The rouge replies,
I have no idea of wich it is that you are saying milady. I am but
a man in the market looking for work.

oop's too late I see, well use it if you can.

Sir Kenyth 10-19-2001 02:19 PM

Ahhhh! "A man working the marketplace would be a more fitting term", one of the men said. "Now, before we kill you, if you will be so kind as to return that small.......WHAT!!!!", proclaimed the startled man. While he was flapping his gums the rogue had slipped a small vial from his sleeve. It was saved for emergencies just as this, and was well worth the cost. As he quaffed the potion he had begun fading before the startled mans eyes. "Quickly! Spread out!, and, "Don't let him escape", rang through the market. They were too late though, he was fleet of foot. He spared no time. The woman had the look of sorcery about her and his invisibility would be momentary should she cast divining magiks!

Mitro heard the splintering of wood and the screams of those
not lucky enough to avoid the mass of exploding stone. "Glad
I asked for a room in the back." he mumbled to himself, as he
lept out the second story window, pausing only to grab his
backpack on the way over.
He scrambled to his feet and thought of a course of action.
It had only been three hours since he arrived in town. How
could they know already? He must find another place to hole
up until this blows over.
After a few minutes of walking, he was jolted by the shouts
of alarm around the corner. *Must hide* he thought as he kicked
in the nearest door.
