....to help me about UBB. When I am trying to get a picture, (animation),
to my signatur, I type in the code, but the picture doesn't show up!!!
I am trying to get Diablo, and I am typing in :diablo:, but it still
doesn't show up!
If some of you know the answer, well I'll be waiting.

Please answer me, you are my only hope!

cos you may have forgotten something
it should (I think go like this [img]http://www.something.stuff.com/stuff.jpg[img/]
but I can't remember if there's a space between the img bit and the web address bits.

Yes, but you can cheat : right-click on the smiley you want, then click on "Properties" in the popping menu, then copy the URL of the smiley, then use it inside (IMG) UBB quotes like this :

(img)http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/NonCGI/icons/icon6.gif(/img)

Actually, it seems (at least sometimes) that they can, Neb, dear.

First off : diablo: won't work as is, it would have to be : 1diablo: or the computer will turn the first : and d into this http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif.

Secondly, if you want to see if it will work for you...

While looking at the smiley you want, put your mouse over it and click right. Then click on properties and copy that. Go to edit your sig in your profile and paste it in there. Then surround the resulting image location with [img] and [/img] with NO spaces. It SHOULD work then. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

No, Lazarus, your problem is that your image isn't valid. You can test if it's valid by copying the URL from properties and putting the address in your browser. If it comes up as page not found, the address isn't valid. You need to find another picture, as you are using the IMG command correctly. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
