Good grief - I am spending too much time upgrading my PC - I thought this was going to be about device drivers LOL! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...s/biglaugh.gif

ROTFL, Epona! Congratulations! You are now a true "geek!" http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no.../xyxthumbs.gif

I knew I was a "geek" a couple of years ago when I was traveling to see my mom in Monroe, Louisiana, and was passing through Shreveport. I saw a huge lighted billboard that read "DSL $13.99" and I exclaimed, "MAN, they're offering DSL service for $13.99 a month in Shreveport!!!"

Imagine my embarrassment when I got closer and it was an advertisement for DIESEL gasoline...$1.399 per gallon.

The "geek" attack strikes again! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/485.gif

That part about New Jersey drivers is sadly quite accurate.

Epona - make sure you're grounded!! I think I was told to touch the power supply before the motherboard. I love the canned air for the dust removal. My current PC was made by me.

You got a "Frankenstein Special", huh, H. Sedai? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif That's the kind I want for my next system. To heck with these stupid store-bought models.

And yes, Epona, listen to what H. Sedai is saying! Ground yourself most thoroughly before getting into the computer. You probably won't get hurt, but you're computer hates static electricity. Those little wrist-strap grounders and a grounding mat are the best ways to go.

Naaaaah...mine would be: Both hands gripping wheel, whipping in and out of traffic, screaming at other drivers at the top of my lungs: SAZERAC http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/485.gif
