I am currently thinking about joing the propertly ladder and it brought me back to my student days. We had two students over from Texas and they were making pretty grim comparisons with student rent costs.

Everything in the UK seems to be more expensive!!! I pay about £500 pound income tax a month on a average national wage (in the UK approx 22000) and don't feel I get much in return. Everyone who holidays in the states raves about what you can get for a dollar. I am I alone?
