I've heard this rumor a lot lately: the images of Palastenians celebrating after the attack on the WTC were staged. One version of the rumor says that the video was recorded 10 years ago and that the Palastenians were celebrating something completely different, another version says that the journalists payed the Palestinians money to act as if they were happy, not telling them why.
Is it true? I've been hearing it from a lot of different sources and I'd like to know if this is just another rumor or if anyone can prove it. If these are true, then I think you should all know.

That's an old rumour which started a week ago I believe. I think it was already discarded as "nonsense" in several other discussions, but I can't point you to a site with the proof on it...

The footage was ten years old. According to the associated press, photographers of the current celebration were threatend with violence, and gave the footage to the palinstienan (sp) police in order to escape with their lives. I have yet to hear of confirmation of such celebrations from a 3rd party, and the news hasnt mentioned this in a week and a half. Conviently sweeped under the rug eh?

They really will do anything for rating's.
