Right now many, many families are finishing dinner with one spouse/parent absent. Children are wondering why daddy or mommy isn't there and the remaining spouse is left with the devastating task of explaining it all. The remaining spouse is hurting very deeply but the majority of pain is yet to come when it all sinks in. Today is a very black day indeed!

My hope is that we find those responsible and take them to task, take to task any country that may have intentionally given them safe haven, and any country actively supported their cause. I would hope only governments, militaries and of course terrorists are retaliated against. I would wish that civilians are not harmed even though unintentional civilian casualties are inevitable. It would seem that the vast majority of Europe and Russia are willing to lend aid in finding those responsible consequently opositiion should be minimal.

With these black thoughts I am going to go spend time with my family and thank God that I have another day with them. Another day to look into my sons loving, happy, innocent, trusting eyes. May God be with those hurting tonight and those innocent people who will be hurt by the outcome, regardless of nationality. May God grant our administration wisdom in these black days. And may God be with all of you.

Amen.. lit a candle tonight. The rescue workers are doing all they can and they are in serious need of prayers today. I have had the good news that two friends made it out of the rubble to safety. Thank God! That's something I've been waiting to hear and now I may actually sleep tonight. But a trouble sleep, with the rest of a shocked country.
