I think we both only read the one about the violet http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/crying.gif which is so... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/crying.gif

250 - Thank you! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif That was a very inspiring, beautiful story!
Mouse - LOL. I just gotta laugh at your first reply here. I, like 250 probably, hadn't noticed the Nuts story, and I was wondering what the hell you were talking about, yet I laughed cause I was thinking a bit differently about that boy's stuck nuts. Now that I have read the Nut story http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...s/rolleyes.gif, I see I was way off LOL http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/rpg/stealthy/KungFuGal.gif http://exit3.i-55.com/~casual/Ladyzeke/Ladyzekke.gif |
It had the same feel of a Hans Christian Anderson story.
Nevertheless, despite the "maudlin" appeal as Mouse so eloquently puts it, the message does bear some consideration. Is it better to live life safely and adequately, and eventually die forgotten, or better to reach beyond one's realm and go out in a blaze of glory? For those of you who play BG2, isn't this the same question that Irenicus poses your character? There are arguments for either side, clearly. For many people, the life of quiet and safety would be enough. For others, it's far from enough. Good post, 250. ------------------ http://www.wizardrealm.com/images/saz.gif |
well it reminded me some disabled people, who live a life that is physically inadquate but strive to acheive happiness. they shed their love and cares and put magic into everyone's live.
