I recently started a new party, and am trying to find all my old stuff.. but I cant find the boots of haste (speed) ANYWHERE... can anyone tell me where they are at?

Do the Haer Dalis quest, then go into the plane, one of the assassin's you fight when you enter has it.

you can also make a pair of speedboots in the spellhold maze (15 tokens for the machine IIRC)

Not quite true; There is indeed a THIRD set of Boots of Speed in straight SoA, but the tough part is.....you have to go up against Arkanis Gath, and I mean the TOUGH version of Arkanis Gath, when he can't be killed and has the sword that will kill anything in 1 hit.

Note: Obtaining these boots CAN be done, and without cheating. No, I'm not going to tell you how I did it. I don't think you can do it if you side with Bodhi, though, I'll have to check in my next game.

do you guys mean with the spellhold boots of speed the boots of Aran Linvail, if you work for bodhi you can kill aran linvail and get his boots. Or am i wrong?
