aw man... http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif I was checking the kittens.....
I just found a few of those little buggers crawling on them curses! based on the instructions they are far too young to be using anything on them and the mother too... so I had to use the old-fashioned herbal remedy... grapefruit... yep you cut it up, put them in the pot of water, let boil for 15-30 minutes, and get it off the stove... then add cold water in it until the temperature is baby-bottle warm (test it on your wrist) this remedy kills the eggs hmph had to use this treatment twice per day for a week as for the grown fleas, I had to chase 'em with tweezers ------------------ http://imagehosting.bidbay.com/image.php3?imgID=505256 FLEAS! One other tip...mix a tad of garlic in their cat food. It helps keep new fleas away.
Maybe there's something to the old legends about garlic and vampires, since fleas are little bloodsuckers... Hm! ------------------ http://www.wizardrealm.com/images/saz.gif |

Just a tad of brewers yeast will keep away the fleas at least...http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif A flea in hand is worth at least .......nothing here.........

Don't forget, once you get rid of said fleas, keep kitties inside (if possible anyways)! Less chance of getting fleas then http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

LadyZekke? My cat goes out a lot - love outside more than inside as more interesting (so he says!), but doesn't often bring fleas indoors, for some reason, though he used to.(!!!!!!) I'm wondering if he and I have become immune to the type of flea he carries? But I see no sign of fleas on him...
I never get bitten in the house, and I don't see him scratching, either. BUT everytime I go into the garden I get BITTEN by the little b***ers.!! Several local cats have sleeping spots in my garden, so I guess that is why. Can't win! ------------------ http://www.ranchoweb.com/images/bg2guy/bitchingcopy.gif http://www.ranchoweb.com/images/bg2guy/fljotsdale.gif |
