For all of you that play DND I was wondering if I should get the new Forgotten Realms 3E setting or Play in my own world I made..

I just got through making my world about a month or so ago, but i was reading about the new FR setting and it sounded pretty cool. What do you think?

PS: No "3E SUCKS!" or any negitave remarks.

well I have only experience with 3rd, I dont see anything wrong with it, the feats and skills adds more versability? to the charecters

It depends on how much time you have to buld a world, and how much experience you have at doing this.

In one of my online games I have built an entire new world but teleported charatcters from Fearun and am building up my world a little bit at a time. In another, I have tucked my own town and little patch of country side into the forgotten realms. These are both good compromises - I can dip into the Forgotten Realms and take what I fancy, but can also "do my own thing" as well.
