ooookaaaaay.....

I am in Suldanessalar, fighting all the sodding golems, and I suddenly remember, s...t, I haven't killed Kangaxx yet, or finished Jaheira's quest with the Harpers. Hmmmm. can I go back, well yes,I did, leaving the poor elves helpless to Irenicus and all his minions.

You see, every time I tried to kill Kangaxx, I failed, my party is high level, but I am obviously crap at this. I can kill most things but I haven't managed to kill Kangaxx. I CAN kill him, but I have lost all my party, pfffff, disappeared, lost forever, and I am NOT gonna put up with that, no sir.

Weeeelllll, I thought to myself, let us have a bit of a wander, go see Aran Lindvail and see what he has to say for himself, because he helped me with his minions, to kill Bodhi. So off I trots to have a chat, to see if he says anything after I have killed Bodhi.

Ahhaaaa, he says, so you return, the ship is waiting blah blah, so I thought "hello" and answered him back and lo and behold, there I was back on the ship on my way to Spellhold.

I reloaded there in case I mucked my game up once and for all.

Bug anyone?

Has this happened to anyone else, or am I just one of these players that have to see if anything else happens when I talk to these guys?

Or should I just not have talked to him again?

Anyway, on my wanderings waiting for the finish to Jaheira's quest. I am obviously not supposed to be back and asking questions.

I hope I can get back to Suldanessalar, got to be able to, no point in game otherwise.

Anyways, after that useless bit of information, I am now off to try my hand with Kangaxx.

Then again, do I need to kill him, apart from getting quest points and Exp. Hmmm. Am I a wimp or am I a wimp.

I had pretty much the same happen to me. I got out of the Underdark and did everything in Sundlarsarsaarlassr (whatever) except the final battle. I then went back to finish some old quests and got the message from Aran that the ship was waiting. I never bothered to try and sign on for a second cruise, but it might be worth it to kill that traitor of a sea captain.

I just got on the ship, and it took me all the way back to Chapter 4.

Wow, I could, if I wanted to, do the whole thing again.

I wonder what Irenicus would say when I turn up with Imoen to rescue Imoen......

By the way, the sequence that comes automatically with Irenicus in Spellhold, when you talk to Aran Linvail, where he kills all the Shadow Thieves who are trapped in the little containers, This time round, it goes to each and every container, but the containers are empty.... I wonder, what would happen it we went round again.

Hmmm, waddya think guys, has anyone done this?
