Jan, Minsc, Korgan, Viconia, Edwin. Put that lot together, keep your charisma high and your rep in the middle, and you'll get all the conversation you could possibly want.

Jan is the most fun in a party. He makes the coolest remarks, his stories are very funny, and he's a not to shabby thief mage.

like fable said... talk two good NPCs, two evil NPCs, and Jan and there should be plenty of bickering along with the occasional pat on the back.
