you know that silver sword that you end up with that the fish people(can't spell their name...starts with a G i think...really long) anyway as long as you have it they keep bugging you and fighting you till you give it to them.

cromwell seemed to think he could make something with it if he had all the parts. what does it make? and what other parts do i need? don't tell me where they are, just what they are. thanks

All you need is the sword piece Saemon gave to you and the hilt you get from that Githyanki(something like that) when you fight them for it right? I think so. As far as the sword goes...i cant really remember...its either +2 or +3, and i think theres like 15% chance of target being utterly deystroyed....or maybe it was held...i cant remember!

After you have gotten the two parts of the Sword, one from Saemon Havarian, and one who will find you after the Underdark ( ;) ), you can get a really cool Two-Handed Sword.
Go to Cromwell with the two pieces, and he will forge them together. ;) </font>

The silver sword is a Githyanki Vorpal blade - one of the most powerful weapons created for AD&D.

The BGII version is +3 and there is a 25% PER HIT that the target must Save vs Death or be instantly killed by decapitation.

Where do I get that blade? I'd like it as all my weapons reallly suck. I have the broken hilt but where do I get to meet the fish people? Thanks!

You wil see them after the asylium. You can't get this weapon in the beginning of the game.

I carry that sword around with me a lot. I gave it to Minsc i believe and it made a very powerful weapon that he uses a lot. Definately a must have weapon in my opinion until you can get better weapons later in the game.

Acctually, you won't get the hilt until you've fled the underdark
