All the stories in this forum (and the encouraging words for my own!) have inspired me to get out an old story of mine that I loved but was dissatisfied with, and I am now in the process of editing and re-writing it. I am such a lazybones that if it were not for you I would probably never have dug it out - and I think it may be publishable too, 'cos it is not quite in the usual run of Fantasy... http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Way to go Fljotsdale! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no.../xyxthumbs.gif

I know the feeling. Seeing the creativity here has inspired me to get into the hotseat and finish the chapter I'm working on my story for the Wizards & Warriors archive. I've got a lot more to go on it, but I'm almost halfway done. 200 pages in Word...whew! This is going to be a 400 pager, I think, or pretty close to it.

Let us see more of your work, please!

WHHHHOOOOEEEEEE!

And thanks, Sazerac, I will, but not this one 'cos publishers like it never to have seen the light of day before they get it, lol! I shouldn'ta put the White Goblin Prologue in here actually (took it out after a few days), but since it is only one bit of a much longer piece I should get away with it! I don't expect ever to sell Victim (that I posted a couple of days ago) because of the topic, so I felt ok to post it. And I have other stuff as well that might go on.... http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I'll have a rummage...
Are you posting your Wizards and Warriors on here, or do you have a site where we can read it?

No problem Fljotsdale. I enjoyed your story! Just remember to read or give me some suggestions on mine, please?

Fljotsdale: It's at http://www.seastop.com/ww.htm , check for the Sazerac link.

Thanks! It's based on Wizards & Warriors, but the way I've written it, you can pretty well pick up the storyline of the game as you go.
