I only have five party members so far...I kicked an evil guy and some other unheard of that joined for awhile after Candlekeep ... I am very early into the game, but want to pick up another two members and kick out Viconia...who is fairly useless currently. When/where can I get Minsc or Edwin... or some other NPC's...

Minsc starts in Nashkel. You will need to get Dynaheir too, or he will leave the party (they're a pair)

Edwin is also in Nashkel, on the South bridge (I think he'll be a problem if in the same party as Minsc/Dynaheir as he wants to kill Dynaheir)

I played BGII first and in that game had Minsc and Edwin...I had to reboot a few times after they came to blows and tried to kill each other off...Minsc usually winning! BUT I liked Edwins mage abilities. I am unfwamiliar with Dynaheir - mage or warrior or ? Thanks!!

I am looking forward to collecting these traveling pals because I feel pathetically puny and vulnerable!!! After having completed BGII as an 18 level sorcerer...well you can just imagine! But this is still incredibly fun, I just long for some good company...in the right amounts! Thanks for your help!
