Hello all

I played through SoA a second time.
I just finished zhe Underdark and now it´s off to Ust Natha. Is it possible to complete the Kuo Toa, Illithid and Beholder lairs first ??? I mean going in and fetching the items (blood, eye stalk etc.) needed in Ust Natha later ??? Or will this lead to some form of deadend in the game because it´s not the *correct* order ???

<font color="gold">All the times I've been in the Underdark, I've always just done the quests in the proper order, 'starting' in Ust Natha.
So I may not be right, but I think that you can do the quests there in what order you want.
And if you suddenly stuck, ou can always cheat to get out. ;) </font>

Yep, you can do those areas before going to Ust Natha without any problems. I alway did it that way, because in my first run-through I went to Ust Natha first, and then I got stuck in the Illithid City. It took me a long time (in-game time at least) to get out, and the spell from Adalon that made my party look like Drow had worn off, so that I couldn't complete the quests anymore. Of course, if you know what to do it'll be no problem to finish all three areas within the required time, but doing them beforehand made me feel less rushed.

I always do them first, it is just too funny to see the matron react.

Matron: You must get me the blood of...

You say: I already have it.

Matron: Don't be a fool, you cannot have it!... Wait... yes, you do have it...

Or something like that.

damned city. I've never been able to successfully make *the switch*. Every time I leave the city it's the same, "Welcome to Ust Natha, population ZERO"
