Any tips for beating that guy? The only thing that can hurt him so far is the spell that damages planar creatures and undead and stuff but only two of my party members have it...finding it tough to keep them alive long enough.

If you mean the thing in the Unseeing Eye Quest in that temple, cast a healing spell on him. You will be surprised of the results!

Nope I beat that a LOOOOONG time ago. :D I am currently in the Underdark and there is this demon named Balor causing trouble for the deep-gnome settlement.

I think you need +3 weapons or better to hurt it -surround it and slash away

or you can use magic - start with a few lower resistance

or both

Thanks. I have several drow longswords (+3 I think) and Valygar is a two-weapon permanently hasted longsword fighter so that should work a little better. :rolleyes:

I think for that I just succombed to the blood in my veins and became... THE SLAYER hehehe, you get reputation enough throughout the game for several slayers, also i'm chaotic good, so for a good cause I will ask the help of evil ;)

oh man, and you know that Temple you were mentioning, you'll never guess how I got my party past the beholders, lol. I found a place where you could sleep your party on both sides of the river, so I had one caster capable of 3 invis, and I took 1/2 the party over past the beholders then slept and invis, went back collect more members, repeat till everyone is across, lmao, hey it might seem lame, but that's resourcefulness for you, I don't powergame, so I do what I can ;)

For me using +3 weapons and protecting my fighters with chaotic commands and hasting them worked fine. I do not loose a single hp killing him. BTW using drow armor my fighters had about AC -10 to -12 so they weren´t that easy to hit.
