I was thinking of picking up this game but I have been told that if I choose to do every quest avaliable I'll still only get around 15 hours of gameplay. True?!?

I don't remember how long it was, but it's a good game worth playing.

Not true. Maybe true for the original Fable, but with TLC, it adds many more hours of content.

And, considering you can snag it for around 20 dollars, it's a good deal. Not the best RPG in the world storywise, but otherwise it's pretty good.

To tell the truth, that's what I've been playing for the past three days while I wait for my replacement CDs for BG II ;)

So if I get Fable: The Lost Chapters does that mean I get the original game as well as "The Lost Chapters"?

Yep, it's the original, plus loads of new stuff!
I got it cheap, and LOVE it! I own the XBOX version, but the PC version is much better--resolution is crisper and clear.

Been playing with it for over 30 hours.. really fun game, and the artwork in all the levels is some of the best use of colors since World of Warcraft--love the autumn trees... warm and inviting.

Yes it has alot of charm. Music is great too (ole Jeremey Soule). It is one of them games that is so cozy it kinda takes you back a little. I was a bit dissapointed with the shortness of it. Also, I aged to be an old man yet was still running around slaying werewolves. Odd. If it had the length and breadth of something like Morrowind I think it could have been amazing.

Fable is a very fun game, but that's it. It's rediculously easy, has low-to-moderate replayability, and it will only take you about 20ish hours to go through Fable and TLC for the first time.
But since it is a very fun game, it's worth it.

For the record, The Lost Chapters adds quests to the original Fable, so that adds a bit ;)
