Read nearly ANY review, and they say its a total joke. (I mean, Romero DID help make it, so I was expecting it'd tank)
Guess how long it took most people to beat it? TWO HOURS. Yeh. 2... That is $25 an hour. Wow... It sucks that most of the game companies now are releasing TRASH and hoping someone will buy it before all the bad reviews are out. One warning sign is that game companies send reviewers copies after its released in stores.. (and many also say 'you cannot publish a review until xx/xx/xx) which in my eyes means: "We know the game sucks ass, and we know you will think that too, so we want you to wait until we fool atleast SOME of the buying public to buy the game before they see your review". Just wanted to warn you all. Its not even worth a rental... |
i have a gauntlet game at home which totally sucks.. so i think we talks about the same game.. can play four players? well it`s not even a childrens game! it`s the worst purchase i have ever done! i don`t even want to finish this game!!!..
but since you said it was new , then i must have the old one... right ? is the graphics any better? |
here's a better idea:
0) have a computer 1) purchase NeverWinter Nights (Platinum Edition) 2) get your friends to do the same 3) install the CEP and the PRC stuff 4) download the modules Angband and Diablo. (use top down viewmode) 5) play until your heart is content. 6) repeat steps 4 and 5 as necessary There you go: instant Gauntlet goodness, and you can have well over four players with a good internet connection at the same time, especially with the Angband module. |
Yeah all I have heard about the gauntlet game is how hard its sucks, and supposedly its pretty darn hard.
