I'm talking about Divine Divinity. I'm not playing the game for the first time, so i know exactly where to look for stuff, and where to find the key characters. Right now i'm on the quest to put the Council of Seven back together. I've assembled all but one...the Imp's representative. Once you get the quest to find all councilmembers, he's supposed to be in a room in the Ducall Inn in Verdistis, but he's not there. I know he should be there, since i've played the game before, but this time no Imp.

Now, i've had several other annoying bugs in this game, like the part where i get a CTD whenever i leave the king's chambers in the Dwarven halls UNLESS i completely empty my inventory and strip my character of all his weapons, armour, and jewelry, but this particular bug won't even allow me to finish the game. If you don't collect all councilmembers, there's simply nothing left to do but to quit. :(

I'm out of ideas, i've patched the game, so it should be less buggy, but not my game. Anyone ever heard of this problem ? There wouldn't happen to be a way to cheat characters into the game, would there ? HELP !

Boy... I don't remember that one, Johnny. Have you looked on the JoWood game forums (it's a JoWood game, isn't it?)? There might be a thought there... or perhaps you've got another quest that needs to be finished. It's been a while since I've played, so I can't offer much more.

I went to do some other stuff i never did before, like the four treasure maps, and the Holy Weapons quest, and after returning to Verdistis to check the room again, he suddenly was there. Beats the hell out of me why he wasn't there earlier. Ah well....at least i can continue now.

Btw...to complete the Dragon Armour quest you have to eventually ask the dwarven king about the breastplate, which can be collected in Verdistis at one of the rich merchant's, but the only option i have is ask the king about the river of gold. I never completed this quest before, is this another bug ?

There may be a pre-quest to it of some sort. If I get a chance, I'll dig out my DivDiv notes and see what that shows.

No, i don't think so. You only need to trigger something in case of the dwarven and the lizard representatives. All others can be done randomly.
